Balkan Tour

My Balkan tour started fro Vienna and followed Danube all the way to Budapest. Nice cyclepath mostly to Rajka. Budapest wonderful town, Gellert hill, all bridges, spas and the World most beautiful Cafe, New York cafe

Continue then south , crossing Balaton lake and futher into Slovenia and Maribor, wow what a beautiful town. Then some steep part before Ljubljana where I stayed one night at hotel.
More uphill before I visit Postojna cave park, the largest show cave in Europe, Stalagmites and Stalactites. 3,5 km cave train and 1,5 km on foot. Then another climbing up to Lipica and Lipizzaner horses breeding.
Before Croatria a short trip to Trieste. From Rijeka and island Krk a ferryboat to island Rab and two nights in overcrowded by tourists Loopar. New boat to peninsula Pag. Then cycling through Zadar and along adriatic sea southward to Split where I stayed three nights before I jumped on a train back home. The weather was sunny almost every day
